Teacher seeks Centre's reaction on Einstein's equation
Shimla, Mar 15 (UNI) A science teacher of a school here today urged the Department of Science and Technology to officially clear its stand on his improvement on Einstein's E=mc 2 equation, saying it will help in ending any ambiguity on his research work.
Ajay Sharma, a physics teacher in a local government school here, shot into prominence a few years ago after pointing out inconsistencies in the Einstein's Law of Conservation of Matter equation, while putting forth a new improved equation.
''After satisfactorily answering to questions by scientists of the Physics Advisory Committee at Puducherry on February 12, I am yet to hear from them,'' he told UNI here.
Mr Sharma said since he has presented his works in front of the Physics Advisory Committee and replied to all the questions raised by the experts, the Central government should come out with an official statement on his research works.
''My work should also be introduced in school level textbooks, since it has already been published in a number of international journals and presented in international conferences.'' He also thanked state Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal for supporting his work and financing him in attending conferences at Taiwan and Germany.
