Scheme sought for rehabilitation of Gulf returnees
Kannur, Kerala, Mar 15 (UNI) Communist Party of India (Marxist) Kerala Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan today urged the Centre to launch schemes for the rehabilitation of Gulf returnees.
Inaugurating the second state conference of the Kerala Pravasi Sangam (KPC) here, he said steps should be taken to ensure the social security of unorganised workers and women in Gulf countries.
The State Government should introduce a welfare pension scheme for the pravasis, he added.
