Rs 948 cr earned from minerals

Bhopal, Mar 15: The Madhya Pradesh government has earned Rs 948 crore till February this financial year through mining of both major and minor minerals.

The revenue receipts include Rs 675.38 crore from coal, Rs 121.72 crore from limestone, Rs 31.80 crore from other major minerals and Rs 119.10 crore from minor minerals, official sources said, adding total revenue of Rs 10,80 crore from minerals was expected this year.
