Nomination deadline for RAPA Awards extended to Apr 5

Mumbai, Mar 15 (UNI) The Radio and TV Advertising Practitioners Association (RAPA) has extended the deadline for submitting nominations for the 33rd All India RAPA Awards for Excellence 2007, to April 5.

The awards honour outstanding creative work in the radio and television field in 63 categories.

The work eligible for nomination should have been telecast between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007. Though the telecast criterion is not applicable to documentaries, the work should be produced between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007.

Speaking to mediapersons here, RAPA Awards Committee Chairman Viresh Chaddha said ''The RAPA awards are one of its kind as they honour creative excellence in radio and television in all the Indian languages including Hindi and English. We have already got an enthusiastic response and have extended the deadline in order to accommodate more entries and entrants.'' UNI LS RN SKB SP RN1920
