Karnataka experiences unseasonal rain
Bangalore, Mar 15 (UNI) Karnataka is experiencing unseasonal rainfall under the influence of Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Comorin area and extending upto 1.5 kms above sea level and Upper Air Trough towards North Interior Karnataka across South Interior.
Meteorological Department, in a release here, had warned about possibility of heavy rain at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka during next 48 hrs.
Widespread rainfall occurred over South Interior Karnataka and fairly widespread rainfall occurred over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.
Since the weather system was persisting, the department had predicted fairly widespread rainfall over South Interior and Coastal Karnataka and scattered rainfall in North Interior Karnataka.
