Centre failed to curb inflation: Sushma Swaraj
Mandsaur, MP, Mar 15 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj today said the Centre had failed to control inflation completely and its Budget had affected family accounts.
Ms Swaraj, while addressing 'Jan Ashirwad rally' at Khandwa and Mandsaur, said the central budget had contributed to rising inflation thereby affecting the ''kitchen budget.'' Alleging that resources had been distributed in the name of religion, she said the Centre had not been able to control terrorism. The Indo-US nuclear deal was an assault on India's nuclear sovereignty.
She said the BJP had fought the previous state assembly elections on the poll planks of electricity (bijli), road (sadak) and water (pani). The party had made significant efforts towards this direction.
Ms Swaraj added that new roads had been constructed and old ones repaired, more than one lakh ponds constructed and was taking steps to resolve power crisis.
