Candidates submit election expenditure accounts, says CEO
Shimla, Mar 15 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh's Chief Electoral Officer Manisha Nanda today said 269 candidates out of 336 candidates who had contested the last Vidhan Sabha elections have submitted their expenditure accounts.
While nine candidate have submitted the accounts of the election expenditure, 58 others have not sub,itted their accounts till date, she said in a release here.
Ms Nanda said Subhash Manglate (Congress) from Chopal Assembly segment has submitted the highest expenditure of Rs 6.74 lakh, while Ms Kamla (BSP) from Theog Assembly segment submitted the lowest expenditure of Rs 2,500.
The accounts of election expenditure received has been forwarded to the Election Commission, she added.
