BSP to workers: Take forward Kanshi Ram's priciples
Jalandhar, Mar 15 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) general secretary Narinder Kashyap today exhorted the Party workers to follow the footsteps of BSP founder Kanshi Ram to take his priciples forward.
''We could not free ourselves from poverty and castism without understanding the struggle of Kanshi Ram'', Mr Kashyap said while addressing a gathering on the occasion of Kanshi Ram's birth anniversary here today.
Mr Kashyap also called upon the Party workers to gear up for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, to make the Party candidates victorious from Punjab.
On the occasion, BSP state president Avtar Singh Karimpuri highlighted the hard work done by Kanshi Ram. He also expressed his concern for small scale industries. Closing down of industries due to unprecedented hike in prices of iron and steel would prove disastrous for the workers, he added.
