AP CM's close associate chosen for Rajya Sabha seat

New Delhi, Mar 15 (UNI) Dr K V P Ramachandra Rao, a close associate of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and a tribal leader from East Godavari District T Ratnabai have been chosen as the Congress nominees for the coming bienniel elections to the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

The candidates were approved by Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Mr Oscar Fernandes, a permanent invitee to the Central Working Committee said in a statement.
