AC compressor blast in local train injures three

Mumbai, Mar 15 (UNI) Three passengers were injured after an air-condition compressor exploded in Ambernath-Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) local train at Sion railway station of Central Railway (CR), here today.

CR spokesperson A K Singh said, one of the passengers was carrying the compressor in CST bound train. It exploded when the train arrived at the Sion railway station injuring three passengers.

The injured were rushed to nearby Sion hospital.

The train was brought to CST car-shed and local train services were not affected, he added.
