3 children killed as wall collapses

Basirhat, Mar 15 (UNI) Three minor children were today killed after a wall of a dilapidated house collapsed and fell on them at Uttarpara Khalpar near Ghojadanga border with Bangladesh here in North 24 Parganas.

Police said the incident occurred when the girls, all aged under six, were playing near the house.

While two succumbed to their injuries on the spot, one died on her way to the hospital.

Police said the BSF jawans rushed to the spot for the victim's rescue from under the debris rpt debris but in vain.
