Tata Teleservices launches new VAS i-HELP for its users

New Delhi, Mar 14 (UNI) Tata Teleservices Ltd, which has emerged as the second largest mobile operator in Delhi and NCR, today launched its i-HELP emergency services targeted to provide help to its subscribers in times of an emergency.

This customer care focused service allows mobile users to contact their family and friends instantly in case of an emergency and is designed to fulfill anytime, anywhere connectivity requirements for the user.

''I-Help Emergency Services, will have a series of different services to provide emergency help and service to our subscribers.

The first one to be launched today is i-HELP *44 Emergency,'' said Tata Teleservices Ltd, Managing Director, Anil Sardana.

The portfolio of i-Help Services will additionally include services such as, i- Help people tracker, i-Help Contact Book, i-Help Phone Safe, I-Help Credit Card Freeze. All these services have been designed to provide quick and easy access to emergency help and support in case of an emergency, he added.

The service is available free of cost for all Tata Indicom pre-paid and post-paid subscribers and it's available in 11 regional languages.

''With similar pioneering initiatives in Value Added Services (VAS), we are confident to grow the current contribution of 11 per cent to the company's revenues to 15 per cent within a year,'' said Tata Teleservices,President, VAS, Pankaj Sethi.

Moving a step further Mr Sardana also said that the company will provide voluntary pay back to its customers if it is not able to fulfill its service commitments.

The company today also launched its signature tune and plans to add various other VAS in near future .
