Special committee to inquire "revenue loss" of excise dept
Ranchi, Mar 14 (UNI) Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Alamgir Alam today announced to form a special committee to inquire into the matter of revenue loss to the excise department.
Raising the issue Manoj Kumar Yadav (Congress) said irregularities were being done in allotment of wine shops in Bokaro casuing loss of revenue to the state government.
However, Excise Minister Kamlesh Kumar Singh said everything was done according to government norms and the government gained profit from those areas.
Mr Alam announced to form a House special committee to look into the matter.
