Rane dismisses allegations as baseless
Mumbai, Mar 14 (UNI) Revenue Minister Narayan Rane today dismissed the allegations against him as ''baseless'' and said he is ready to give a reply on the floor of the House.
Talking to reporters, Mr Rane said Shiv Sena leader and then Revenue Minister Sudhir Joshi had first taken the decision regarding the land at Sahar village near the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in 1996.
''Everybody knows that during that period, all the decisions were ratified from Matoshri (the residence of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray),'' Mr Rane, who is an estranged Shiv Sena leader, said.
''I implemented the past decisions taken by Mr Joshi, Mr Rane said adding, ''In a way, I am only carrying ahead Sudhir Joshi's decision.'' UNI JM MAZ SY DS1401
