Polls in November, claims Naidu
Beed, Maharashtra, Mar 14 (UNI) Senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu today claimed the country will have to go to the polls in November this year.
The BJP will defeat the Congress and come back to power, Mr Naidu said while speaking to UNI here.
The UPA Government at the Centre, he said, was not committed to the welfare of the common man. Ridiculing the loan waiver for farmers, Mr Naidu said although a loan waiver to the tune of Rs 60,000 crore has been announced, a provision of only Rs 10,000 crore has been made for the purpose.
Mr Naidu was here to address party workers at a day-long meeting. Former Maharashtyra deputy chief minister and senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde was also present on the occasion.
Addressing the party workers, Mr Munde urged them to be prepared while asserting that the BJP will regain power at the Centre as well as in Maharashtra.
