Four die in collision in Gujarat

Godhra, Gujarat, Mar 14 (UNI) Four persons were killed in a collision between two heavily-loaded trucks on Ahmedabad-Godhra highway, near here, today.

According to the police sources, the incident took place this afternoon at around 1530 hrs, when the two trucks, laden with cement and woods, collided head-on, leading to the death of drivers and cleaners of both the vehicles.

While the three died on the spot, the other succumbed to injuries in the civil hospital here.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, police added.
