Death sentence to a man in triple murder case
Thanjavur, Mar 14 (UNI) A local court today awarded death sentence to the conuct in a tripple murder case.
The Thanjavur sessions court judge Mohamed Jafarullakhan awarded the capital punishment to one Rajesh for murdering his father, step mother and grand mother on a single day over a property dispute.
The prosecution case was that Rajesh, aggrieved by his father's denial of his share of property, bludgeoned the three to death.
The judge awarded the death sentence holding that the prosecution has proved the case beyond reasonable doubt.
On hearing the judgment, the accused broke down and swooned, creating a flutter in the court premises. He was later taken to the prison.
