Dasmunshi asks US not to give its views on human rights violations
Kolkata, Mar 14 (UNI) Taking a potshot at the US for listing human rights violation in Nandigram, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunshi today said America did not give its views on such violations in Iraq.
''It is a universally admitted fact that violence and human rights violation took place in Nandigram. But the US government did not give its views on human rights violation in Iraq,'' he said.
''It was nothing new and there were human rights violation and brutal killings in both Nandigram and in Gujarat,'' he said.
