Bishnoi's disqualification issue referred to committee
New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today informed the House that he had referred to the Privileges Committee a petition seeking the disqualification of Mr Kuldeep Singh Bishnoi, son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal.
The Speaker said he had received the comments of the Congress on the petition filed by its party MP Avtar Singh Badana seeking disqualification of Mr Bishnoi as a member for leaving the party, attracting his removal from the membership of the House.
He had forwarded the petition along with the comments of the Congress to the Privileges Committee, Mr Chatterjee said.
