Aurobindo Ashram mother passes away

Puducherry, Mar 14 (UNI) Francoise Moriset, grand-daugher of Mirra Alfash and mother of Shri Aurobindo Ashram died here today.

Moriset, named as Pourna Prema was 77 and is survived by a son Michel Lemaire. She was bed-ridden for a long time and the end came at her residence near Ashram school.

She joined the Ashram in late 1950s and was asociated with it in writing books, articles, printing and publications.

The cremation took place at Karuvadikuppam crematorium here this evening.
