Atiq's building bulldozed in Allahabad
Allahabad, Mar 14 (UNI) The Allahabad Development Authority (ADA) bulldozed the third storey of Ali tower, owned by Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Atiq Ahmad, situated at the posh Civil Lines here today.
A team of the ADA this morning reached Civil Lines and started the process of demolition. The demolition was still on.
ADA secretary Kanak Tripathi said the third storey of the tower was made against the parameters of the ADA and was illegal.
Engineer Muniraj Singh informed that two third of the demolition process had been completed and rest would continue tomorrow.
Atiq is the prime accused in the 2005 BSP MLA Raju Pal assassination case. Earlier also, police had razed buildings owned by the MP in the posh area.
