Another notice for no-confidence motion against Speaker
Bhopal, Mar 14 (UNI) Another notice for bringing a no-confidence motion against Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani was today handed to Principal Secretary (Assembly) A K Payasi by the Opposition.
After handing the notice, Mr Narayan Tripathi (Samajwadi Party) told reporters on the Vidhan Sabha premises here that another notice was submitted keeping in mind that the previous notice could be rejected due to technicalities.
He said the notice was signed by more than 24 MLAs belonging to Congress and other parties. From technical viewpoint, a notice for bringing no-confidence motion must be signed by at least 24 MLAs.
A notice -- signed by 25 MLAs -- for bringing no-confidence motion against the Speaker was handed to Mr Payasi by the Opposition yesterday.
