Wild animals seized from schools
Kochi, Mar 13 (UNI) Kerala Forest Department officials seized wild animals, illegally harboured for educational purposes, from two schools in the city.
The Perumbavoor Flying Squad Range confisicated a giant squirrel and crane from Rajagiri Higher Secondary School in Kalamassery and a giant squirrel, toddy cat, monitor lizard, white monkey and python from Don Bosco School in Vaduthala in raids conducted last night, according to an official.
The raids were conducted following a tip-off and investigations were on, he said.
