Two teenaged students hang themselves due to exam stress

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Two more students allegedly committed suicide by hanging themselves in the capital in the wake of growing exam phobia among students in the metropolis.

In the first incident in South Delhi's R K Puram, Ankit (15) hanged himself at his Sector-2 residence.

A class VII student of Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Ankit was 'feeling lost' for the last 15 days or so, said the family, He had his exams tomorrow and was nervous, they added.

In the second incident Deepak (17) hanged himself at his Bhagirathi Vihar residence in Gokulpuri.

He was a student of Class XI from a private school in Rajendra Nagar.

Sources said he was menatlly weak and had fled his home last year for some days.

No suicide note has been recovered in both the cases, police said.
