Two Naxalites rounded up in south Bihar

Gaya, Mar 13 (UNI) Two hardcore Maoist guerillas were arrested from the Khaira village in this Naxal-dominated south Bihar district today.

Police said acting on a tip off that the two extremists had come to the village, a special team raided a house early this morning and arrested Shambhu and Brahmdeo Yadav without any resistance.

No arms and ammunition or any incriminating documents were recovered.

The duo ,who were produced in the local court today, were wanted in connection with several murders and the bombing of the railway tracks at Paraiya-Guraru area in the district a few years ago, police said.
