TMH employees decide to challenge Director's appointment
Mumbai, Mar 13 (UNI) The Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) employees have decided to challenge in the court, the appointment of Dr K A Dinshaw, as Director on a contract basis, to look after the administrative and financial matters of the hospital.
While talking to UNI, the Tata Memorial Hospital Kamagar Sangathana Executive President Vinod Jain said here today that this is the post for a Surgeon doctor and Dr Dinshaw is not a surgeon but a radiologist.
He said that because of her appointment for the third consecutive term, after her retirement from the hospital, other senior doctors, who are entitled for the post, did not get promotion, following which some senior doctors of the hospital including Dr P M Parikh, have resigned.
