Three trampled to death in cattle race
Kolar, Karnataka, Mar 13 (UNI) Three people were trampled to death and 10 othes were injured in a cattle run event when large number of villagers of Dinnahalli village congregated for a funnction today.
Officials said three people were trampled and gored to death by bullocks when they let them loose and ran along. Four others were injured in the incident.
The injured had been admitted to a hospital.
Two among the dead were identified as Akram belonging to Bangalore and Aslam belonging to Masti village in the district.
About 5000 people participated in the village festival during which a large number of cattle is let lose.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Yellappa visited the village.
