Three decomposed bodies recovered from forest area
Tirupathi, Mar 13 (UNI) In a bizarre incident, three bodies, those of a mother and her two children, both below eight years of age, were recovered in a decomposed state at Mangalam forest area on the outskirts of this famous temple town today.
According to police, Alipiri sub-inspector rushed to the spot on receiving information. The victims were suspected to have committed suicide four days back. A cool drink bottle was recovered from the spot.
The woman and her children were suspected to have committed suicide by consuming poison, mixed in the cool drink.
However, the exact cause behind the tragedy would be known only after postmortem, police added.
