Police arrested a criminal

Hyderabad, Mar 13 (UNI) The police today apprehended a notorious house breaking offender who was in the list of the top 12 criminals in the city.

According to police, in the recent past, a series of burgalaries had occurred in various police station limits in the city. The police had been keeping a close watch over the ex-convicts and released offenders.

The criminal M Shankar alias Shiva was involved in more than 150 cases and was imprisoned several times. He was last released in January this year. But he was involved in four house braks in the short span of two months.

Stolen property, including a Bajaj pulsar motor cycle and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.10 lakh were recovered from his possession, police added.
