Piaggio rolls out ape xtra, ape xtra LD

Bangalore, Mar 13 (UNI) Piaggio Vehicles today launched two variants of three-wheelers, ape xtra and ape xtra LD with new features.

Company Sales and Marketing, Director, Ashutosh Khosla said the launch was carefully timed to synchronise with the burgeoning economic activity of the coutry. It would provide two outstanding products to the country's light transportation sector, he added.

''Piaggio ape xtra and ape xtra LD are likely to set a whole new standard in three-wheelers performances, having been meticulously engineered to deliver higher outputs on all critical parameters,'' he said.

The standard version ape xtra had an extra strong cold-rolled- loading platform with additional reinforcement to enhance strength and give longer durability to the tray, he said, adding that ape xtra LD variant had an extra long deck, making it the longest load body vehicle in its category.
