Penelope Cruz's dream is to 'adopt about 20 children'

Washington, Mar 13 : Spanish actress Penelope Cruz has always had a childhood dream of having a huge brood of children, through adoption.

The 33-year-old beauty has always wanted to have a big family, but reveals that it is just not possible at the moment to consider becoming a mother as she is enjoying her jet-setting career too much. "I'd love to have kids. Maybe I'll adopt about 20 children - that's been my dream since I was a little girl," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"I love children, but at the moment I'm happy with my career. If one day I have a baby I'm not going to be able to work like I do now," she stated.

"I can be in London one day, Miami the next, New York after that, then back to L.A. I travel more than some pilots!" she added.

In closing, Cruz admitted that she will not be giving up her career completely even if she does choose to have children.

"I'd still want to work when I have children, but not as much as I do now," she said.
