One IAS shifted, another's transfer cancelled

Lucknow, Mar 13 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, while cancelling the transfer of another.

L Venkateshwar Loo, who was awaiting posting, is the new Irrigation secretary.

The transfer of Kishan Singh Atoria, the Managing Director of UP State Transport Corporation, Lucknow, has been cancelled.

On March 11, he was shifted to Information department Lucknow, as its secretary/director.
