NSCBI airport workers join duty

Kolkata, Mar 13 (UNI) With the two-day strike by the Airport Authority of India (AAI) union employees withdrawing strike from this evening, workers began joining their duties at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International airport on night shift.

According to Dipankar Ghosh, AAI union secretarty, workers had been asked to immediately take up housekeeping and cleaning up measures.

Extra workers had also been put into service to ease the situation, he said.

About 2000 union supporters went on strike.
