Mild tremors in Assam

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) A mild earthquake was recorded in Darrang in Assam at 2113 hrs this evening.

The met department said the earthquake measured 4.0 on the Richter scale.

The tremors were epicentered in Darrang region of Assam, between 26.6 degree N latitude and 91.8 degree E longitiude.

No casualty has been reported from the region.
