Main accused in ex-MLA attack case held

Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 13 (UNI) Police arrested Katari Mohan, the main accused in the former Chittoor MLA C K Babu attack Case.

The district police confirmed the arrest of Mohan, the main accused in the two incidents of attacks on Mr Babu. However, they did not reveal the place of arrest.

The main accused along with his son Praveen and relative Kittu alias Chandrashekar were presented before District Sessions Judge P Durga Prasad at his bungalow tonight.

Mr Babu survived the January 1 attempt on his life, the second in less than a year. However, one of his four gunmen succumbed to wounds sustained in the incident.
