Its 'grey' not 'khakhi' for CISF at Taj
Agra, Mar 13: In an unusual step to kill the fear of security personnel among tourists, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), deployed at the monument of love, Taj Mahal, would now dress up in 'grey' rather than the traditional 'khaki' colour.
CISF deputy commandant R K Singh said from April, some of the jawans could be seen in the new uniform, comprising grey pant-shirts and blue caps. The step would help in ending fear among the tourists, who are often scared of the armed security personnels garrisoned for security reasons. Besides, it would also help in building a cordial relationship between the tourists and the CISF.
