IT searches at Bharat Shah's office

Mumbai, Mar 13 (UNI) Income Tax officials today conducted searches on the residential and office premises of diamond merchant and film financier Bharat Shah.

The searches are still in progress, Income Tax sources said but declined to divulge further details.

The sources, however, stated that the searches were being conducted in view of the investments made by Mr Shah in the real estates business here in the city.
