Coal production disrupted in CCL colliery
Hazaribagh, Mar 13 (UNI) Sarvadaliya Sangharsh Samittee today disrupted coal production in Badka Sayal section of Central Coal Fields in the district, following closure of a unit of a Central school.
Production was hampered in collieries of Bhurkunda, Central Sounda and Urimari.
Angry over the school administration's decision to close down the Central school from April 1, a large group of people gathered around the colliery premises and disrupted work at the unit.
Sources said that one of the members of the school's parents union was observing a fast-unto-death for the last ten days and had been admitted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences at Ranchi after his condition deteriorated.
