Book on kidney diseases released

Tirupati, Mar 13 (UNI) As part of the Kidney Day today, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Executive Officer K V Ramanachary released a book on ''Kidney diseases, treatment and precautionary measures,'' written by SVIMS Nephrology Head of Department Siva Kumar at SVETA today.

Later, Dr Siva Kumar delivered a special lecture on the effects of hypertension and diabetes on kidneys to TTD employees.

He also explained the precautions to be taken in the prevention of the disease.

SVETA Director Bhuman and TTD Chief Medical Officer Sarada were among those present.
