BJYM demands ban on " Encountered on saffron agenda"
Jaipur, Mar 13 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha Rajasthan unit today demanded a ban on exhibition of film "Encountered on Saffron Agenda" by producer Subhradip Chakraborty on four reported encounters by the Gujarat Police.
Morcha state president Ashok Lahauti told newpersons here that a bid for holding unauthorised show of the film here today was foiled by BJYM activists but the producer was still trying to hold the show again.
He said the film which glorified terrorists and criminals, was doctored and its exhibition might pose a threat to communal harmony and brotherhood in the state.
He said his organisation had submitted a memorandum to the District Collector demanding a ban on the 90-minute film and lodging of a sedition case against film producer and his associates.
The BJYM would not allow any attempt of holding illegal show of the film without the administration's due permission any where in the state, Mr Lahauti said.
