3 trampled to death in cattle race
Kolar, Karnataka, Mar 13 (UNI) Three people were trampled to death and ten injured in a cattle-run when large number of villagers of Dinnahalli village congregated for a function today.
Officials said three people were trampled and gored to death by bullocks when they were let loose. The injured were admitted to a hospital.
Two of the dead were identified as Akram of Bangalore and Aslam of Masti Village in the district.
About 5,000 people participated in the village festival during which the run was organised.Assistant Superintendent of Police Yellappa visited the village.
