2 Cong MLAs disqualified for joining Bhajan Lal's party
Chandigarh, Mar 13 (UNI) Two Haryana Congress MLAs Dharam Pal Malik and Rakesh Kamboj, who had joined a new party floated by former Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, were disqualified today under the anti-defection law.
Speaker Raghuvir Singh Kadian told UNI that the two legislators, who were present in the December two rally of Mr Bhajan Lal in Rohtak where he launched the Haryana Janhit Congress (BL), were disqualified as they failed to appear before a Vidhan Sabha tribunal hearing the case to explain their position.
The two MLAs, along with Mr Bhajan Lal, had already been suspended from the Congress.
