No proof of foreign hand in Lahore suicide attacks: Pak Interior Ministry
Islamabad, Mar 12 : Interior Ministry spokesperson Javed Iqbal Cheema has ruled out a foreign hand in the two suicide attacks in Lahore that claimed 32 lives and left 170 others injured on Tuesday.
"We cannot blame any country until we have solid evidence. Its not only a national problem but an international one," he added.
"Additional measures are being taken to beef up security at public places, government installations and likely targets of terrorist elements, " the Daily Times quoted Cheema, as saying.
According to the experts, C4 type explosives were used in the attacks and over 40 kilogram of explosives were used in the attacks.
