New hospital facility for rural people at Barrackpore
Barrackpore, Mar 12 (UNI) West Bengal Health and Panchayet minister Suryakanta Misra today inaugurated a 20-bed hospital cum research centre at Kawgachhi near here in North 24-Parganas.
The new health facility ended suffering of about 22 years for the villagers of this industrial belt of Barrackpore since closure in early 80s.
Inaugurating the hospital, the health minister reminded the hospital authorities and their private partner Aqura Medical Speciality of Bankura headed by Dr. Ranjit Roy that they had no reason of complacency unless the people were served with devotion.
He also called upon the hospital authorities to provide medical facilities to the poor people availing the medical insurance schemes of the state and central governments.
