Man caught stealing from Tirumala temple hundi
Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 12 (UNI) TTD Vigilance Officials caught a person while he was stealing money from the Sri Vari Hundi inside the temple premises today.
According to Vigilance Officials, E S Kumar of Giddaluru in Prakasam District was caught red-handed and Rs 3,150 recovered from his possession.
He was handed over to the Tirumala Crime Police Station, the officials added.
In an another case, police arrested Venkata Subbaiah, working as a house keeper at the VIP Padmavathi Guest House, in connection with stealing Rs 2.40 lakh worth gold bangles belonging to devotees who were staying there.
The accused was working under a private manpower agency authorised by the TTD.
