AP govt removes revenue official from service
Hyderabad, Mar 12 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government today removed an official of the Mandal Revenue Office at Gurramkonda mandal in Chittoor district from services following an inquiry by the Tribunal for Disciplinary proceedings in an ACB trap case.
According to an official release here, the ACB sleuths caught red-handed C Ananda Rao, a junior assistant officer, when he accepted a bribe of Rs 500 from a complainant on December 12, 2002.
In another similar case, the government issued orders withholding the entire pension and its benefits to M Chandra Mouli, village secretary of Domalakunta in Karimnagar district.
He was arrested for accepting a bribe of Rs 1,000 from a complainant on January 28, 2006, the release added.
