6 killed, 14 injured in bus-tractor collision

Bhiwani, Mar 12 (UNI) Six people were killed and 14 injured in a bus-tractor collision here today.

According to police sources, a tractor suddenly came in front of of the bus and even as the bus driver tried to avert an accident, the vehicle rammed the trolley attached with the tractor.

Due to the impact of the collision, three people died on the spot while the other three succumbed to their injuries later.

The deceased have been identified as Prakash, Mahendra, Bhim Singh, Bal Mukund and the bus driver Manoj and the conductor of the bus.

All of them hail from Jhagdauli village.

The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital from where some of the seriously injured were rushed to PGI, Rohtak.

Police have registered a case against the driver of the tractor.
