5 charred to death in lorry-tanker collision
Bangalore, Mar 12 (UNI) Five people were charred to death when a tanker collided with a lorry at Bramasandra, about 50 km from here, early today.
Police said the deceased were driver and cleaner of both the vehicles and a passenger of the lorry.
The bodies were charred beyond recognition.
Both the vehicles were completely gutted and fire fighters took over an hour to extinguish the fire.
Following the accident, vehicular traffic was affected on Pune-Bangalore National Highway for over three hours.
