Vodafone introduces 'Talk More 199' plan in Kerala

Kochi, Mar 11 (UNI) Vodafone Essar, a leading cellular service provider, has introduced 'Talk More 199' plan at a monthly rental of Rs 199 with lower call rates and other benefits for high-usage mobile users in Kerala.

With this plan, users could make calls to local mobiles and landlines at 50 paise per minute and STD calls at Re 1/ min. It was aimed at benefitting customers such as businessmen and corporates, who have high usage pattern of local and STD calls, according to a company release here today.

Vodafone Essar Kerala Chief Executive Officer K Shankara Narayanan said '' the new plan is designed to encourage high volume mobile users to go post-paid and talk more. We are confident that this plan will offer value-for-money and benefit them while they make frequent local and STD calls.'' A special promotion throughout March offered all subscribers an added advantage, a free one-month activation of the Gulf ISD pack worth Rs 79, which reduced call prices to the Gulf from the normal Rs 9.20 per minute to Rs 7.99.
