Zardari-Sharif partnership unusual, says US expert

Washington, Mar 11th 2008 : Commenting on the current turn of political events in Pakistan, South Asia expert at the US Council on Foreign Relations, Daniel Markey, termed the Zardari-Sharif partnership as 'unusual and interesting' and pitched against Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.

Observing the internal situation in Pakistan, Daniel said that Pakistan should recognize that its real threat is from 'internal' terrorism and militancy and that India is not a real threat.
